Wood in Interior Design: How to Enjoy Your Home to the Fullest

When it comes to incorporating wood into interior design, we could talk endlessly about it. We could spend hours admiring how it moves across the floor, doors, and furniture.

For us, there's nothing quite like the unique patterns of natural wood. Once we fell in love with its beauty, we could never settle for an imitation. This happened during our Eurotrip last August, where we travelled with our one-year-old daughter through Munich, Zurich, Lucerne, Langenfeld, and back to Munich. During our stay at the Aqua Dome hotel in Langenfeld, nestled in the Austrian Alps, we discovered an interior design saturated with wood, completely transforming our world. We were mesmerized by the doors, table, bed headboard, and wardrobe facades. Walking across the wooden floor was a true delight. These feelings are difficult to describe; they must be experienced and lived for a few days.

After that trip, we started to cherish wood floors and furniture. We were stunned by the skill and craftsmanship of some woodworking companies. With various oils, lacquers, and waxes available, the possibilities for using wood in interior design are endless.

As designers, we help our clients understand and experience the pleasure of touching wood floors or furniture items. We allow them to surround themselves with objects that are not only visually pleasing but also tactilely enjoyable.

So, love yourself, love your home, and enjoy what you touch ❤
